जैसे ही वो दरवाज़ा खोल कर अंदर आए तो आंटी और महक ने उस तरफ देखा। राहुल को देखते ही उसका सारा शरीर काँपने लगा और धड़कन तेज़ हो गई। उसने बड़ी मुश्किल से राहुल को हैलो कहा। फिर पानी लेने चली गई।
उसने रसोई में आकर अपने सीने पर हाथ रखा और खुद को शांत किया। फिर ग्लासों में पानी ले कर अंदर आ गई। महक का चेहरा अब पहले से बहुत ठीक हो गया था। वो उससे नज़रे मिलाने से डर रही थी और राहुल उसे एक टक देखे जा रहा था।
